Porto Santo Fashion Weekend 2026 is a new event dedicated to fashion, creativity, and local talent, created to promote the island of Porto Santo as a leading tourist destination while supporting local businesses, designers, artists, and entrepreneurs. Taking place from 17 to 19 July at Largo das Palmeiras, the event transforms the town centre into a vibrant stage filled with fashion, live music, entertainment, and unique experiences for both residents and visitors.

Inspired by the 18-year success of Moda Funchal, Porto Santo Fashion Weekend provides a platform where local shops, fashion brands, designers, and emerging talent can showcase their work to a wider audience. The event brings together fashion professionals, models, performers, influencers, and special guests, helping strengthen Porto Santo's image as a destination for culture, creativity, and tourism.

This first edition features six Porto Santo fashion stores representing beachwear, men's fashion, women's fashion, children's clothing, accessories, and handbags. Visitors will also discover exclusive collections by designers Rúben Gomes, Roby Gaspar, and Porto Santo designer Rita Pessanha, who will present her latest swimwear collection.

The entertainment programme includes live performances by Áku, Tiago Freitas, and Lourenço Gonçalves, alongside appearances by special guests including Hélder Flávio Pinto, fashion columnist and influencer Hélder Rocha (Mr. Dandy), and Venezuelan influencer Diana Rodriguez. Diversity and inclusion are also key parts of the event, with around 20 children, models from Associação CAI, and Porto Santo dancer Iuri Fernando Neves taking part.

Beyond the runway shows, guests and participants will enjoy boat trips, horseback riding, jet ski experiences, and local gastronomy activities, highlighting Porto Santo's natural beauty and cultural heritage. Supported by more than 70 private partners, Porto Santo Fashion Weekend aims to become one of the island's most important annual fashion and lifestyle events while creating new opportunities for tourism, commerce, and the local creative industry.
